QA/QC Officer

Requirements:

• Minimum level six craft certificate or third level equivalent.
• Full practical understanding of plumbing, HVAC systems and operations.
• Minimum 2 - 4 years’ post graduate experience within Mechanical Services and HVAC.

·        Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines.

·        IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.

·        Ability to work unsupervised and to a high standard.

·        Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Applicants must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland 
• Good understanding of ISO process/procedures would be advantageous

Job Details:

• Provide  support on variety of projects to Senior Engineers and the Management Team.
• Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the mechanical equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements
• Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
• Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
• Regular reporting on workload and targets.

·        Maintain all documentation in an organized and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures

·        Liaise with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested

·        Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems.

·        Co-ordinate commissioning process across all disciplines
