Requirements:
· The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)and self- starter with a proven track record in meeting deadlines and managingprojects
· Prior experience working in a Finance Team and partof the month end close process
· Experience in the construction or engineeringindustry would be an advantage : We will consider applicants who have hadexposure to this industry during their accountancy training.
· Strong PC skills with a high competency in the Microsoftsuite of applications such as Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
· Strong attention to detail taking pride in thequality and presentation of work
· Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
· Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Excellent communication skills
Job Details
· Preparation of monthly financial accounts
· Maintaining live management accounts for individualprojects via our Evolution Mx back office system- Training will be provided onthe system
· Prepare budgets for business units and individualprojects with the relevant line management
· Preparing Vat Returns and filing with Revenue
· Maintaining, processing and returning RelevantContract Taxes to Revenue
· Monitoring costs with a focus on overheads
· Complete bank reconciliations and prepare cashforecasts and projections where required
· Ad hoc projects
· Supporting senior management with any ad-hocfinance related queries
