BIM Lead

Job Description

• Lead the BIM delivery strategy for all mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client and project BIM requirements.
• Manage and oversee the production, coordination, and delivery of BIM models and associated data throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain the company’s BIM standards, templates, workflows, and execution plans (BEPs).
• Facilitate model coordination and clash detection processes across disciplines using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries from internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Chair BIM coordination meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development and training of BIM Coordinators and Designers within the business.
• Evaluate and implement emerging digital construction technologies to improve productivity and model accuracy.
• Ensure quality control, version management, and proper use of Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Collaborate closely with the Design, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar BIM role within the mechanical or building services industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 (or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and digital workflows.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to drive innovation.
