Job Details
· Lead mechanical engineering projects including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, ensuring they meet performance, budget, and schedule objectives.
· Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
· Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
· Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and close-out.
· Conduct field investigations and site inspections to ensure compliance with design, codes, and safety standards.
· Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials; review submittals andapprove shop drawings.
· Manage and mentor junior engineers and project staff.
· Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot mechanical system issuesduring and after installation.
· Ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable building codes,standards, and environmental regulations.
· Track project costs and assist with budget preparation, cost estimates,and change orders.
· Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Criteria
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
· Minimum 5 years experience within the MEP Industry
· Strong leadership skiils
· Excellent organisation with a keen attention to detail.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
