We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position, based on sites throughout the Greater Dublin area.
Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, organise, and supervise all mechanical site activities (HVAC, plumbing, pipework, fire protection, etc.).
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and implement method statements and risk assessments for all mechanical works.
- Manage the daily site operations and allocate resources effectively.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and structural teams to avoid clashes and ensure project integration.
- Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Project Manager.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to company and statutory HSE standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, inspections, and audits to maintain safe working conditions.
- Ensure all plant, equipment, and installations are operated safely and correctly.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Oversee and inspect mechanical installations for quality and compliance.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and as-built documentation.
- Support in preparation of O&M manuals and handover documentation.
Cost & Resource Management
- Track progress against the program and report deviations.
- Manage labour, plant, and material requirements efficiently.
- Liaise with procurement for material orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Verify subcontractor performance and approve progress claims.
Technical & Problem Solving
- Resolve on-site technical queries in coordination with design engineers.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and design conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, standards, and specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in mechanical site supervision or management.
- Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial mechanical installations.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and mechanical systems.
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS).
