We’re delighted to have commenced works on the new T1 Lounge at Dublin Airport. The DAA has outlined a whole host of improvements that will ensure smooth journeys for passengers, delivering everything from new best-in-class security scanners to new food outlets and other great new features. JCPS are currently working on revamping and doubling the capacity of the T1 Lounge. Phase 1 — the strip-out — has been successfully completed, including the careful removal of legacy services dating back to 1972. Navigating and safely decommissioning infrastructure of that vintage posed a unique challenge, requiring precision and close coordination across the team. Phase 2 is now underway, and we’re looking forward to progressing into the installation stage. Huge thanks to our Project Manager Gareth Granger, Vent Manager Liam Morgan, Edgar Castro our Building Services engineer and all the JCPS team who are doing fantastic work on this project. Shout out to Crosbie Group for their assistance and great work as always.
